Common use
Soolantra Cream is a medicine used in the treatment of rosacea, which is an inflammatory condition that affects face. It helps in reducing the redness, swelling and pimples associated with rosacea.
Dosage and direction
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Precautions

Contraindications

You should avoid application near the eyes, lips and nose. If accidentally Soolantra Cream gets in the eyes or near the eyes, eyelids, lips or nose, immediately wash the area with water. Inform your doctor if your skin problem does not improve within a few days or if it becomes worse.
Possible side effect

Common side effects of Soolantra: Itching; Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness); Dizziness; Peripheral edema; Fever; Joint pain; Swelling of lymph nodes; Synovitis; Nausea; Diarrhea; Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing); Facial swelling; Fast heart rate; Increased white blood cell count (eosinophils); Increased hemoglobin; Increased alanine aminotransferase; Increased aspartate aminotransferase; Decreased white blood cell count.
Drug interaction
Other drugs may interact with Soolantra Cream, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Tell each of your health care providers about all medicines you use now and any medicine you start or stop using.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose of Soolantra Cream, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical attention.
